Country Director, Robotics Hardware

Location: Ukraine, remote from any location within Ukraine; daily presence at the Kyiv office is required.

Develops wearable robotics hardware tested and deployed in demanding field conditions.

What you will do

• Lead field engineers, the Kyiv office, and the Ukraine operation end to end.
• Manage day-to-day operations and make independent decisions when leadership is not nearby.
• Own product performance for existing customers and new deployments, resolving issues early.
• Monitor field conditions and customer needs, then provide engineers with clear and timely updates.
• Build relationships with Ukrainian military units, partners, and new customers.

Requirements

• Experience leading teams or operations under significant pressure while remaining calm.
• Strong knowledge of the military environment in Ukraine.
• Enough engineering knowledge to work credibly with engineers.
• Ability to handle both sales and technical conversations.
• Clear communication and fluent English.
• Ability to be present at the Kyiv office every day.

Nice to have

• Military service or experience working closely with Ukrainian units or the defense industry.
• Experience leading large teams or major projects.
• Background in a defense technology company or hardware operations.
• Creative, self-directed approach to open-ended problems.
