Site Reliability Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of Azure cloud infrastructure and data platforms supporting data processing and analytics services.
• Design, deploy, and maintain repeatable cloud infrastructure with Terraform and apply DevOps practices through automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Monitor platform health with Datadog and Azure Monitor, resolving complex Level 2 and Level 3 incidents.
• Investigate root causes, automate operational tasks, and implement lasting improvements to platform resilience and operational efficiency.
• Embed security controls into deployment pipelines and collaborate with international teams on platform improvements.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including services supporting data processing and analytics workloads.
• Advanced expertise with Terraform and strong experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Boards, and Repos, plus Git.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Shell for scripting and automation.
• Operational knowledge of Linux, particularly Red Hat, and Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, network isolation, and security principles.
• Strong production troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; English is required.
