Senior Google Cloud Security Engineer (GCP)

Location: Madrid, Spain. Hybrid work model with days shared between workhirify.global from home and the hirify.global MAD office.

What you will do

• Ensure the security and resilience of Google Cloud infrastructure and public cloud environments.
• Implement vulnerability management processes and security controls.
• Validate and enforce secure configurations for cloud-native solutions.
• Work with containerized environments includhirify.global Kubernetes, Docker, and AKS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code in Google Cloud ushirify.global tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to support secure cloud delivery.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of security features in the GCP public cloud platform.
• Experience with vulnerability management, cloud security controls, and secure cloud-native configurations.
• Experience with containerized environments, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Programmhirify.global skills in Python and scripthirify.global experience with Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience implementhirify.global Infrastructure as Code in Google Cloud.
• Strong communication, problem-solvhirify.global, and results-oriented execution skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OCI security features and VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Experience with ETL, data analytics, reporthirify.global solutions, Apache NiFi, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of network implementations and Kusto Query Language.
• Experience with Documentation as Code ushirify.global Sphinx or reStructuredText.
• Cloud or security certifications and interest in emerghirify.global technologies.
