Senior Data Scientist (Mobile Gaming)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work requires living within commuting distance of the Barcelona office. Relocation support to Barcelona is available.

What you will do

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for experimentation, model feature engineering, and large-scale player datasets.
• Design, build, and maintain cross-game data marts with clean, transformed data for analysts.
• Develop reusable production code, tools, and frameworks for multiple game teams.
• Partner with game analytics teams to build and maintain data tools and products.
• Build and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines supporting analysts’ daily work.
• Share coding and software engineering best practices with game analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or another quantitative field.
• Advanced SQL skills, including CTEs, query optimization, and large-scale data warehouses.
• Advanced experience building and maintaining production data pipelines with tools such as Airflow, Docker, S3, and CI/CD workflows.
• Advanced Python experience for production-level data analytics solutions.
• Basic to intermediate experience integrating LLMs or using generative AI tools and workflows.
• Collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, pragmatic, and comfortable learning quickly in an ambiguous environment.

Nice to have

• Experience creating and maintaining dashboards in Tableau or a similar BI tool.
• Mobile gaming industry experience.
• Marketing analytics experience.
