Group Financial Controller (Fintech/Crypto)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; onsite, remote, or hybrid work format

International multi-entity group operating across several business lines, including fintech and crypto-related activities.

What you will do

• Own accounting and financial reporting across the group’s legal entities.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations, financial statements, and consolidation across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate tax compliance, transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee bank, payment provider, exchange, and crypto-related reconciliations.
• Analyze high-volume transactional data, investigate discrepancies and non-standard transactions, and determine appropriate accounting treatment.
• Improve financial systems, controls, and accounting processes, including processes for new entities, products, and transaction types.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or financial control.
• Strong experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidation, intercompany transactions, and multiple jurisdictions.
• Practical understanding of IFRS, Corporate Tax, VAT or indirect taxes, and coordination with local tax advisers.
• Experience with reconciliations, financial analysis, high-volume transactional data, complex datasets, auditors, banks, and external advisers.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills; experience with transfer pricing and international groups is advantageous.
• Strong working proficiency in English; UAE experience is advantageous.
