TL;DR
IT Operations Team Lead (AI/Fintech): Leading and operating a reliable IT support function for an AI-focused financial technology company with an accent on hands-on escalations, identity and endpoint administration, automation, and team delivery. Focus on balancing technical operations with capacity planning, stakeholder reporting, change governance, security hygiene, and sustainable team growth.
Location: Marbella, Spain; hybrid arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote after onboarding. European legal working status is required.

What you will do
- Lead IT Support and Operations delivery, ensuring service continuity, quality, predictable execution, and sustainable team growth.
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex incidents and service requests while administering core IT systems, identity platforms, endpoints, and access controls.
- Build scripts and automation, validate tools and integrations, and contribute to vulnerability remediation and endpoint security hygiene.
- Plan team capacity, workload, recruitment support, sprint and quarterly planning, mentoring, coaching, and capability development.
- Manage changes, projects, vendors, budgets, service governance, and operational maintenance.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual business reporting and maintain clear communication with stakeholders across the business.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading an IT Support or IT Operations team while remaining hands-on.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM practices, ideally Jira Service Management.
- Experience with identity, endpoint management, security tooling, and cloud-first environments.
- Familiarity with AWS and scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with change management, vendor management, stakeholder reporting, and operational governance.
- European legal working status and availability for the hybrid Marbella arrangement are required.
