Data Business Analyst (SQL)

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data, reporting, and analytics.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and data requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Product Owners to deliver data solutions.
• Use SQL to analyze data, identify trends, validate requirements, and support business decisions.
• Define KPIs, metrics, reporting requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Support testing, data validation, UAT, and data quality across reports and dashboards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on data-focused projects.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
• Experience with reporting and analytics solutions.
• Ability to understand data models, data flows, and business processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban.
