Web Developer (Python)

Location: MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida, United States; office-based. Must be a US citizen and available for domestic and international travel; combat zone travel is not authorized.

What you will do

• Support exercise and operational web development requirements.
• Design, develop, release, and maintain web applications, web services, scripts, utility programs, and desktop applications.
• Provide web expertise for US and coalition networks to improve information sharing.
• Develop and manage SharePoint sites and content.
• Maintain web servers and sites, troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, debug legacy systems, and document solutions.
• Interact with government operational representatives and deliver military staff briefings and action items.

Requirements

• US citizenship and active TS clearance with SCI eligibility are required.
• Five to eight years of relevant experience, including high-level military staff briefing and action-item experience.
• Extensive Python experience with Django and Flask.
• Strong HTML and modern JavaScript framework experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js; basic CSS and framework knowledge.
• SharePoint expertise, Microsoft Office 365 proficiency, excellent writing and briefing skills, and high-level public speaking ability.
• IAT Level II certification is required for DoD 8570 compliance, or must be completed within 60 days of employment.

Nice to have

• SQL Server stored procedure and SQL Reporting Services experience.
• IIS management, troubleshooting, and security compliance experience.
• Agile development, cloud architecture, and Git-based source control experience.
• Knowledge of US Department of Defense security requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures.
