Senior Data Engineer Consultant

Location: Hybrid work in Luxembourg at Boulevard Royal 53, with office, home, and client-site arrangements.

What you will do

• Lead client engagements and co-design data engineering solutions from strategy through execution.
• Build scalable data pipelines and architectures for structured and unstructured data.
• Design cloud and distributed data solutions using platforms such as Azure and frameworks such as Spark and Kafka.
• Develop data models and optimize relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph database solutions.
• Implement batch, streaming, real-time integration, CI/CD, and DataOps practices.
• Develop internal data engineering offerings, contribute to thought leadership, support business development, and mentor junior and mid-level consultants.

Requirements

• Completed WO Master's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with substantial programming.
• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent academic research.
• Experience or interest in Data Engineering, data, AI-related topics, and sectors such as Energy and Finance.
• Indicative technology exposure includes Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure; client-specific stacks may vary.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English and excellent French fluency are required.
