R&D Certification Engineer (Cybersecurity) (Cybersecurity): Driving cybersecurity certification and R&D for secure, compliant electronic products with an accent on standards analysis, security assessment, cryptographic modules, and certification documentation. Focus on performing product-to-standard gap analysis, implementing and testing security features, developing automated pre-assessment tools, and supporting ISO/SAE 21434 activities in the automotive sector.
Location: Rennes or Cesson-Sévigné, France, with remote work days

What you will do
- Analyze cybersecurity standards applicable to target markets and perform gap analyses against product specifications.
- Research emerging cybersecurity developments and optimize standard and customized certification deliverables, including evaluation reports.
- Implement features for cryptographic modules and algorithms, including security verification and testing.
- Support roadmap projects for automated tools and pre-assessment databases.
- Implement and test new methodologies for standards reviews and support automotive cybersecurity activities involving ISO/SAE 21434.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers through security assessments, reports, and presentations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in electronic engineering or computer science.
- Junior profile with less than 3 years of experience.
- Experience with embedded systems, embedded systems security, and hardware concepts.
- Knowledge of cryptography, hardware security, and cybersecurity certification standards including ISO/SAE 21434, Common Criteria, FIPS 140-3, and SESIP/PSA.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and strong analytical rigor and attention to detail.
- Good written and spoken English is required for studying standards, writing reports, and cross-functional communication.
Nice to have
- Experience with C, C++, Python, Verilog, or VHDL.
- Experience with side-channel analysis or fault injection.
