Patch Velocity & Software Lifecycle Lead (Cybersecurity)

Location: Lyon or Gentilly, France; hybrid work with remote work available up to 2 days per week

What you will do

• Accelerate patch deployment across servers, middleware, endpoints, and application layers while reducing mean time to patch and vulnerability backlog.
• Define and enforce software lifecycle, end-of-life, and end-of-support standards across the digital environment.
• Control the approved software catalog and reduce unauthorized software, shadow IT, and unmanaged components.
• Embed security and compliance requirements into golden images, baselines, delivery processes, and asset lifecycle management.
• Define patch management policies, operating models, governance frameworks, roles, and responsibilities across Security, IT, and Business stakeholders.
• Coordinate Infrastructure and Cloud, Digital Workplace, Application Owners, CyberSecurity, Risk, and Compliance teams while monitoring KPIs and reporting progress to executives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or infrastructure security, including cross-functional transformation or remediation programs.
• Strong understanding of patch management, software lifecycle and obsolescence risks, and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, Intune, SCCM, Microsoft Azure Arc, Red Hat Satellite, Azure, AWS, vulnerability management, EDR, and SOAR tools.
• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting, with advanced use of AI technologies to improve operations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, IT, or a related field.
• English and French required; the role is based in France and follows a hybrid work model.
