Design Manager (Middle-earth™ Strategy Battle Game)

Location: Full-time onsite at the UK headquarters in Nottingham

hirify.global develops tabletop games, miniatures, books, and hobby products, including the Middle-earth™ Strategy Battle Game.

What you will do

• Coordinate the development of Middle-earth™ Strategy Battle books and games from initial concept through final release.
• Turn ideas into clear creative plans and briefs for miniatures designers, writers, artists, photographers, editors, and graphic designers.
• Track multiple projects, milestones, dependencies, risks, and next steps to keep releases efficient and on time.
• Ensure miniatures, books, and games are financially viable and meet hirify.global’s quality standards.
• Manage relationships with licensors and collaborate with Merchandising, Buying, and Customer Engagement.
• Lead and support creative teams while protecting the vision and quality of Middle-earth™ Strategy Battle Game.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Middle-earth™ and understanding of its characters, stories, and appeal to fans.
• Strong passion for miniatures and the tabletop gaming hobby.
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Clear communication and relationship-building skills for coordinating creative, commercial, and licensing stakeholders.
• Solution-driven approach, personal accountability, and the ability to remain calm when plans change.
