TL;DR
Associate Microsoft Cybersecurity Advisor (Microsoft Security): Supporting customer cybersecurity engagements, assessments, and incident response activities with an accent on Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and Microsoft Defender. Focus on developing threat detection and risk mitigation expertise, advising customers on security hardening, and building practical experience through mentorship and hands-on work with the ION platform and MXDR services.

What you will do
- Support customer engagements by providing cybersecurity advice and technical guidance.
- Shadow experienced cybersecurity professionals and contribute to security assessments and incident response activities.
- Use Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and the Microsoft Defender suite to provide tailored security recommendations.
- Help customers optimize security defenses, mitigate risks, and improve security resilience.
- Build trusted customer relationships and provide informal leadership on cybersecurity matters.
- Stay current with cybersecurity trends, attacker tradecraft, and security best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or a related field.
- Understanding of Microsoft security products and technologies, including Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and the Microsoft Defender suite.
- Solid understanding of attacker tradecraft and security hardening techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
- Professional communication in both German and English is required.
Nice to have
- Scripting or programming skills for automating security tasks and processes.
- Experience in incident response and threat hunting.
- Background in network and system administration.
- Experience in the managed security services industry.
