TL;DR
Lead PHP Developer (Laravel) (PHP/Laravel): Developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications and WordPress platforms for a D2C cosmetics business with an accent on technical ownership, performance, security, and scalability. Focus on leading implementation decisions, reviewing code, guiding team members, and improving application reliability during CET hours.

Location: Remote within Serbia; full-time availability during CET hours

hirify.global GmbH is a family-owned D2C company operating KU2 Cosmetics and serving customers across the DACH region with beauty and anti-aging products.

What you will do

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using PHP and Laravel.
  • Maintain and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
  • Lead technical implementation and make development decisions.
  • Review code, uphold coding standards, and guide team members.
  • Improve application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional PHP development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Laravel.
  • Good knowledge of MySQL, REST APIs, and Git.
  • Ability to take ownership, solve complex problems, and provide technical guidance.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Availability to work full-time during CET hours and remotely from Serbia.

Nice to have

  • WordPress development experience.
