Junior Accountant

Location: Hybrid, Singapore

What you will do

• Manage customer invoicing, incoming receipts, cash application, outstanding receivables, and billing dispute resolution.
• Process subcontractor invoices, validate them against purchase orders, and perform reconciliations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing through journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain project cost records and prepare monthly project profitability, variance, and other financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and internal and external audits.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or an equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Singapore tax regulations, including GST invoicing requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Detail-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, communicate effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.
