NSX-T Security – Cloud and Platform Engineer

What you will do

• Administer and support VMware NSX-T environments in production.
• Manage micro-segmentation, distributed firewall policies, and security controls.
• Troubleshoot security and operational issues and support security incidents.
• Contribute to vulnerability remediation, compliance activities, and audit support.
• Implement changes through established change management processes.
• Collaborate with cloud, network, and platform teams on secure service delivery and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Hands-on VMware NSX-T administration and implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts and security controls.
• Experience supporting NSX-T in a production environment.
• Knowledge of structured operational and change management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• VMware NSX certifications.
• Experience in enterprise cloud or managed services environments.
• Exposure to Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ISE, CyberArk, or Tenable.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience with compliance, audit, or vulnerability management activities.
