Senior Associate, Hardware Configuration Manager (Defense)

What you will do

• Establish and maintain hardware configuration management processes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage bills of materials, configuration records, drawings, specifications, and change notices.
• Coordinate configuration changes, impact analysis, approvals, and configuration control board meetings.
• Track hardware baselines, inventory, and version control through development, testing, and production.
• Support audits, configuration data reviews, engineering analyses, tools support, and program management activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or a graduate degree with 0–2 years of experience; alternatively, 6 years of related experience without a degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Knowledge of hardware configuration management, documentation control, change management, and version control.
• Ability to work overtime or outside normal business hours when required.
• Security clearance eligibility requires U.S. citizenship.

Nice to have

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Three or more years of configuration management experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, or complex systems.
• Experience with EIA-649, ANSI, MIL-STD-973, Windchill, Teamcenter, or equivalent PLM and CM tools.
• Experience with government programs, engineering drawings, schematics, parts lists, or continuous improvement methods such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Configuration management certification such as CMPIC or CMII.
