Senior SEO Specialist (AI): Owning SEO performance across key markets and complex initiatives, using large datasets, AI and automation to improve SEO at scale with an accent on technical SEO, strategic analysis, and scalable workflow design. Focus on analysing changes across thousands of URLs, developing automated QA workflows, and influencing cross-functional decisions through evidence-backed recommendations.

Location: St Julians, Malta; full-time remote

What you will do

  • Own SEO performance across key markets and complex initiatives, shaping roadmaps and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Analyse complex datasets, competitor insights, and changes across large website portfolios to produce strategic recommendations.
  • Drive the adoption of AI and automation in SEO workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality.
  • Design, test, and implement scalable automation workflows, including SEO QA processes.
  • Influence cross-functional teams, challenge existing processes, and share expertise across the SEO team.

Requirements

  • Deep SEO expertise, especially in on-page optimisation and technical SEO.
  • Experience developing strategies that deliver measurable improvements across large, complex websites.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including work with complex datasets and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience identifying AI and automation opportunities and improving workflows.
  • Ability to independently own complex initiatives, prioritise by impact and effort, and manage cross-functional dependencies.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, autonomy, and adaptability.

Nice to have

  • Experience experimenting with AI-enabled SEO solutions.
  • Experience developing automated QA workflows.
