Machine Learning Operations Developer (AI/ML Platform): Building and operating scalable infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring systems for machine learning and generative AI solutions with an accent on model inference, automation, and platform reliability. Focus on implementing secure MLOps workflows, governing model versions, optimizing data pipelines, and resolving production incidents across training and inference workloads.
Location: Hybrid in Toronto or Montreal, Canada
Base salary: CAD 99,000–145,200 annually for Canada-based roles.

What you will do
- Implement and optimize MLOps practices for an AI/ML platform supporting machine learning and generative AI products.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines that move machine learning models from development to production.
- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure for model training, inference, and data processing.
- Build monitoring and logging systems for model performance, system health, and platform efficiency.
- Support model version control, governance, security, data privacy, and compliance practices.
- Identify automation opportunities, troubleshoot operational issues, and contribute to incident response and system recovery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least two years of hands-on DevOps and MLOps experience deploying and managing machine learning models in production.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Understanding of security practices including data encryption, access controls, compliance, and the ability to troubleshoot operational issues.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, data lakes, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Agile development methodologies.
