Junior AI, Robotics Developer (Robotics)

Location: Remote, Minsk, Belarus

Salary: $400 per month gross.

КлиматЛайн is developing the V7 robotics project for intelligent robotic systems intended for public-use applications in the United States.

What you will do

• Develop software for real-world robotic systems across AI, machine learning, computer vision, and autonomous robotics.
• Work with object detection, tracking, environmental understanding, localization, mapping, and path planning.
• Process LiDAR and other robotic sensor data, including sensor fusion.
• Integrate AI models with physical robotic systems and supporting APIs and backend services.
• Run simulations, testing, debugging, research, and experimentation with emerging AI and robotics technologies.
• Work in a small engineering team under the guidance of a Senior Engineer and gradually take ownership of more complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• Be a third-year university student or above, or a recent graduate, in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Have a strong academic record, approximately A or equivalent.
• Demonstrate strong programming fundamentals and practical knowledge of Python and/or C++.
• Understand the fundamentals of AI and machine learning, with a basic understanding of computer vision and modern AI models.
• Show interest in robotics, autonomous systems, and real-world AI applications, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial experience is not required; university projects, research, hackathons, personal projects, GitHub projects, and prototypes are relevant.

Nice to have

• Experience with ROS or ROS2, OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LiDAR, SLAM, robot navigation, LLMs, generative AI, or autonomous systems.
