What you will do
- Extract, cleanse, organize, and model healthcare claims data for downstream use.
- Use SQL as the primary engineering tool and Python for automation, validation, and solution development.
- Design and implement the claims data model, solution architecture, and supporting pipelines.
- Partner with the Data and AI teams to develop an end-to-end claims solution.
- Evaluate upstream and downstream data impacts while improving claims accuracy, data quality, and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience with SQL and data modeling.
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering, automation, and validation.
- Strong experience with data warehousing, star-schema modeling, and report design.
- Experience with AWS data services including Redshift, Athena, S3, DMS, Glue, or SageMaker, and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Direct experience with healthcare claims, billing, coding, or related data, plus experience building solutions in high-scale engineering environments.
