Trading Mentor (Fintech)

Location: Remote worldwide

Salary: $5,000–$8,000 per month before taxes

Proprietary algorithmic trading firm operating across major exchanges and asset classes, including equities, derivatives, options, commodities, and futures.

What you will do

• Build teaching materials, including slides, exercises, and examples, from provided topic outlines.
• Deliver recurring trading education sessions for employees across the organization.
• Assign spaced homework and adapt the pace and depth to different learners.
• Track learning progress and report coverage and outcomes to the relevant team.
• Improve educational materials and recommend curriculum changes based on learner difficulties.

Requirements

• Background in applied mathematics, preferably including probability or stochastic processes, or in physics.
• Ability to explain technical material clearly to people without a finance background.
• Teaching, tutoring, or training experience.
• Strong interest in markets and trading, with sufficient domain knowledge to teach trading concepts.
• Reliable, structured approach and availability for a recurring weekly commitment.

Nice to have

• University teaching experience in quantitative finance, econometrics, statistics, or a related field.
• Academic or self-taught exposure to finance, trading, or quantitative analytics.
• Completion of a quantitative trading bootcamp or similar structured program.
