Go Architect / Solution Architect (Go) (AI)

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia; remote, office, or hybrid work options available

What you will do

• Design and evolve scalable, high-performance distributed systems in Go.
• Select concurrency models and balance performance, resilience, and maintainability.
• Translate business goals into technical plans and delivery roadmaps with Product Managers.
• Identify edge cases, risks, and technical constraints during planning.
• Represent engineering in stakeholder meetings and explain technical decisions in business terms.
• Lead architecture and code reviews and improve CI/CD and engineering processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years of production-level Go experience.
• Deep knowledge of goroutines, channels, context, the memory model, and concurrency patterns.
• Experience designing distributed, microservice-based, and high-load systems.
• Strong expertise in REST and/or gRPC API design, relational databases, message brokers, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Experience with AI implementation or configuration within an engineering team and with fintech, banking, or other regulated domains.
• Advanced or higher English and a higher education in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with NoSQL databases, Redis, cloud platforms, DDD, or event-driven architecture.
• Previous Architect, Staff Engineer, or Principal Engineer experience.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM components into production systems.
• Open-source Go contributions, SRE practices, or relevant cloud certifications.
