Clinical Trial Assistant - Student Placement

Location: High Wycombe and Maidenhead, United Kingdom. The office will relocate to central Maidenhead from October 2026.

What you will do

• Support Local Trial Managers and Site Managers with clinical trial start-up, execution, and closeout activities.
• Manage trial-related documents and provide logistical and administrative support.
• Ensure clinical trial activities comply with GCO standard operating procedures, company policies, and local regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Business Operations, CTA teams, study teams, Finance, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement, training, mentoring, and central business support activities.

Requirements

• Completion of two years of undergraduate study by the start of the placement in June 2027.
• Life Sciences degree, such as Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nursing, or Pharmacy, with the industrial placement year included in the undergraduate course.
• Minimum 2:1 achieved in the first year of study.
• Good Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, with strong digital literacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Applicants must be able to work at the High Wycombe/Maidenhead location, including the planned move to central Maidenhead from October 2026.
