UX/UI Designer I (AI)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for features and products, from discovery and user flows through high-fidelity UI, prototypes, implementation, and developer-ready specifications.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into clear design solutions and present decisions to stakeholders.
• Build, maintain, and scale design systems, including component architecture, documentation, and engineering handoff.
• Use AI tools for research synthesis, ideation, UI exploration, copywriting, prototyping, asset generation, and workflow automation.
• Design trustworthy AI-powered experiences such as smart search, recommendations, and content-generation features, including uncertainty, errors, and user control.
• Identify UX/UI problems, drive improvements, provide feedback, and mentor other designers when needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional product design and UX/UI experience, including at least 1 year designing web applications for SaaS/PaaS or B2B products.
• Portfolio with 2–3 in-depth case studies demonstrating the problem, process, trade-offs, and outcomes of shipped products.
• Experience creating a design system from scratch or scaling an existing system.
• Professional experience using AI tools in design workflows, with strong judgment regarding accuracy, bias, intellectual property, and data privacy.
• Expert-level Figma skills, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and working knowledge of WCAG and inclusive design.
• Strong written and spoken English required for collaboration across time zones and cultures.

Nice to have

• Experience designing eCommerce platforms or merchant-facing applications.
• Experience with AI/ML-powered features, conversational interfaces, recommendations, or generative features.
• Prompt engineering or experience building custom AI workflows, agents, or plugins for design tasks.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and frontend constraints.
