Senior Manufacturing Manager (Renewable Energy)

Location: South San Francisco, United States; on-site

Salary: $135,000–$165,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Establish and support manufacturing operations for engineering builds and initial production, including facilities, utilities, equipment, and material flow.
• Develop, document, and improve production processes and implement engineering changes that reduce build time and improve product reliability.
• Coordinate engineering and initial production builds with cross-functional teams while closing gaps in processes, materials, and documentation.
• Monitor supplier and contract manufacturer delivery plans, identify risks, and protect build schedules.
• Support production planning, forecasting, execution, and manufacturing quality through in-process checks and product and material verification.
• Manage on-site materials, including receiving, inventory accuracy, usage, handling, and inventory controls.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience managing internal manufacturing operations or working with external contract manufacturers.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with supply chain operations, production capacity planning, production readiness, and material management at contract manufacturing facilities.
• Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, make timely decisions, and work effectively under time constraints.
• Clear communication skills and proficiency with Google Workspace applications.
