Quality Conformance Manager II (Aerospace)

Location: Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; onsite 100%. Travel required: 10% domestic and international.

hirify.global operates a U.S. commercial aircraft manufacturing facility producing A320 Family and A220 aircraft.

What you will do

• Administer and continuously improve the quality management system for aircraft manufacturing.
• Investigate non-conformities, audit findings, aircraft logbook issues, calibration deviations, tooling problems, and process escapes.
• Define corrective actions, perform root cause analysis, and lead practical problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Develop KPI reports, dashboards, statistical analyses, and digital tools for monitoring quality performance and trends.
• Implement and monitor control plans, inspection plans, personnel qualification, calibration, metrology, tooling, and special processes.
• Support internal and external audits and collaborate with quality, production, engineering, inspection, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in technology, aviation, engineering, business, manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in aviation quality, industrial or manufacturing engineering, data analytics, business administration, manufacturing, or maintenance-related work.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methods including APQP, FMEA, control plans, SPC, Quality Gates, Practical Problem Solving, and FOD prevention.
• Knowledge of non-conformance management, root cause analysis, Kaizen, lean manufacturing, aircraft design and manufacturing quality systems, and aircraft production processes.
• Knowledge of EASA and FAA regulations and the ability to create data analyses, written reports, and presentations.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Degree in industrial technology, aerospace, aviation management, industrial engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with hirify.global quality inspection, manufacturing, or industrial/manufacturing engineering.
• Valid FAA A&P or ASQ Quality Engineer certification.
• French, German, or Spanish language skills.
• Familiarity with SAP and Google Suite.
