Summer Intern – CMC Quality Assurance, Clinical Programs (AI)

Location: Fully remote; can be performed from anywhere. Occasional travel for team meetings or events may be expected.

Pay: $20.00–$35.00 hourly

What you will do

• Support Quality Assurance activities for Phase 1–Phase 3 clinical programs manufactured at contract manufacturing organizations.
• Help design and develop a QA Metrics Dashboard to improve visibility into quality metrics and operational performance.
• Analyze quality systems across multiple contract manufacturing organizations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Trend deviations and CAPAs to identify systemic issues and support corrective actions.
• Organize batch records and release documentation in Veeva Vault.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Digital Quality, Commercial, and other stakeholders on quality initiatives, training, SOPs, and AI-driven projects.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, biotechnology, life sciences, chemistry, or a related field.
• Interest in pharmaceutical quality systems, clinical manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong willingness to learn and expand knowledge of the healthcare industry.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication, strong organization, and attention to detail, clarity, and accuracy.
• Available for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, 12-week paid internship.

Nice to have

• Prior internship or project experience in healthcare compliance, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or other regulated industries.
• Experience building AI agents, workflows, or applications.
