Principal Product Advisor (OT Cybersecurity)

Location: United Kingdom; remote-first role with approximately 25% travel

What you will do

• Drive product strategy and roadmap inputs for NIS-2 and sector-specific OT cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
• Advise EU customers on risk management, OT asset visibility, and demonstrating compliance to national competent authorities.
• Capture customer needs and implementation challenges from EU critical infrastructure operators, with a focus on energy.
• Represent hirify.global in EU industry forums, conferences, ENISA working groups, national cybersecurity events, and sector bodies.
• Support Sales and Marketing with product positioning, POCs, market analysis, educational content, and EU go-to-market activities.
• Mentor product managers and improve product KPIs, feature prioritization, and alignment with EU market needs.

Requirements

• Direct experience in an OT environment or experience building or supporting an OT security product.
• Demonstrated expertise in NIS-2 and its application in OT environments, including national implementation differences across EU member states.
• Experience with regulated entities or competent authorities, such as energy operators, critical infrastructure owners, cybersecurity authorities, or sector regulators.
• Working relationships with EU critical infrastructure operators, national competent authorities, CSIRTs, and industry bodies.
• Knowledge of NIS-2 Article 20, the Cyber Resilience Act, and DORA, including their interaction in OT environments.
• 7+ years of experience building or maintaining enterprise security products, alongside strong analytical, communication, organizational, and influencing skills.

• Experience presenting at industry events or contributing to blogs, whitepapers, or webinars.
• EU language proficiency, such as German, French, or Dutch.
• Deep expertise in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, or the Nordic countries.
