EE Lab Manager (Electric Vehicles)

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the electrical engineering lab.
• Develop lab infrastructure, equipment, testing capabilities, and inventory management.
• Manage wiring harness technicians, review incoming work requests, and assign work.
• Expand lab capabilities for power electronics and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Track equipment maintenance and calibration schedules.
• Enforce high safety standards and monitor lab expenditures against departmental budgets.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a lab manager, preferably in a power electronics or electrical lab within the automotive or aerospace industry.
• Experience managing technicians.
• Experience with Jira and Coupa.
• Understanding of 2D drawing layouts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivation to learn on the job and take ownership.
