Cloud Engineer (Azure & AWS)

What you will do

• Administer and support production infrastructure and services across Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Monitor service health, capacity, performance, alerts, and operational events, taking corrective action when required.
• Perform maintenance, validate backups, support recovery activities, and resolve incidents through diagnosis, documentation, and escalation.
• Execute production changes through formal change-control processes, including validation, rollback readiness, and post-change verification.
• Operate and troubleshoot Azure and AWS networking, identity and access management, security controls, monitoring, and connectivity.
• Improve operational efficiency through scripting, CLI tools, infrastructure as code, automation, and reliability initiatives.

Requirements

• Onsite work in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
• Hands-on production administration and operations experience with both Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, security, monitoring, troubleshooting, backups, and operational support.
• Experience executing production changes under formal change-control processes.
• Ability to analyze technical problems, make controlled decisions, work autonomously, and maintain accurate documentation.
• English proficiency sufficient for technical collaboration, documentation review, and communication with cloud-provider support.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Monitor and AWS monitoring or logging services.
• Experience with cloud backup, restore, high availability, or disaster recovery.
• Experience with scripting, CLI tools, infrastructure as code, or Terraform.
• Relevant Azure or AWS certifications.
