Player Management - Backend Software Engineer (iGaming)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

What you will do

• Build and maintain a scalable, multi-brand player account management platform supporting more than 40 online brands.
• Develop functionality for account creation, verification, updates, and closure.
• Implement account authentication, security controls, and user session management.
• Support responsible gaming features and other mission-critical player management capabilities.
• Collaborate with product development teams to deliver new features and improve performance, functionality, and user experience.
• Contribute to the transition toward microservices and containerized systems.

Requirements

• .NET and C# development experience with knowledge of ASP.NET Web API.
• Experience implementing distributed, multi-tier, or microservices systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with software development teams.
• Professional communication in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
• .NET Core, Docker, NServiceBus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ experience.
• DevOps experience.
