Location: Rochester, New York, United States; onsite, 5/8 first shift at the Jefferson Road Operations Center.

Salary: $84,000–$156,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and coordinate the Post-SMT support team covering through-hole assembly, depanelization, soldering, and automated equipment.
• Develop and optimize production processes for new and existing PCBA products, including tooling, fixturing, and equipment programming.
• Create process documentation, work instructions, staffing standards, training programs, and production expectations.
• Provide technical support for depanelization and through-hole assembly equipment and support preventive maintenance programs.
• Analyze production feedback, defective materials, and process issues; contribute to MRB and change-control activities.
• Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, equipment validation, and continuous-improvement initiatives with engineering, operations, quality, and production teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of prior experience, or graduate degree and 4 years of prior experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of related experience.
• Experience with electronics assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, and manufacturing processes in a high-mix environment.
• Ability to program automated equipment and analyze process performance.
• Working knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards.
• Ability to work onsite in Rochester, New York, on the first shift.

Nice to have

• Experience with wave soldering and selective soldering equipment.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt training.
• Experience supporting manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
