Middle Automation QA Engineer (Banking)

Location: Fully remote from Cordoba or Buenos Aires, Argentina

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for web applications and banking platforms.
• Perform functional, manual, and regression testing to validate application quality and stability.
• Analyze, document, and track defects while collaborating with development teams on resolution.
• Improve automation frameworks using Python, pytest, Playwright, Page Object Model, and fixtures.
• Validate new features, system enhancements, and production fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support reliable releases.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Quality Assurance experience with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on Python experience for test automation development.
• Strong knowledge of pytest and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated UI tests with Playwright.
• Proficiency with Git, Page Object Model frameworks, fixtures, regression testing, defect analysis, and software testing methodologies.
• Understanding of test case design and QA best practices.

Nice to have

• Functional and manual testing experience in banking environments.
• Knowledge of banking processes and financial services workflows.
• Experience with Bantotal solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development environments.
