What you will do

• Design and develop distributed backend services using .NET and event-driven architecture.
• Collaborate with product and commercial teams to turn engagement ideas into scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions.
• Optimize microservice ecosystem for performance, reliability, and observability.
• Drive containerization and cloud migration strategy forward.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and conduct code reviews.
• Participate in incident resolution and the team’s on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Experience with C#, .NET (modern versions after .NET Core).
• Experience with relational or document databases, including indexing and query optimization (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, Couchbase).
• Experience with any major cloud provider or containerization platform (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Understanding of unit, integration, and performance testing (xUnit/NUnit, mocking frameworks, k6).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with messaging or actor-based system (Web APIs, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Orleans).
• Experience with other observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Splunk).
• Familiarity with continuous delivery pipelines and deployment strategies (GitHub Actions, trunk-based development, progressive delivery).
