Senior Product Manager (Robotics)

Location: Kitchener, Ontario; on-site in the Waterloo Region. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the Waterloo Region. Travel to customer sites and other locations is approximately 20–25%.

What you will do

• Own and publish the multi-quarter roadmap for the Neo, Neo 2W, and Kas robot platforms, including sequencing, trade-offs, and prioritization.
• Define product requirements, acceptance criteria, release plans, and readiness standards with Engineering and QA.
• Use field data, customer feedback, command center data, service escalations, and warranty claims to guide product decisions.
• Support NPI activities with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality, including DFM reviews, pilot builds, validation, and production ramp.
• Define commercial and deployment readiness, including positioning, pricing inputs, SKU structure, sales enablement, service documentation, and spares strategy.
• Track platform metrics, build business cases, lead launch reviews, and support strategic accounts and RFPs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years owning a physical product such as robotics, industrial equipment, vehicles, medical devices, or comparable hardware with embedded software.
• Direct experience managing a deployed installed base and making roadmap decisions based on field performance and failure modes.
• Technical fluency across mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software engineering sufficient to assess feasibility.
• Experience with pricing inputs, positioning, SKU structures, business cases, and sales enablement.
• Strong written communication and the ability to make accountable decisions with incomplete data.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Waterloo Region; the role is on-site.

Nice to have

• Experience with autonomous mobile robots, AGVs, AMRs, AVs, or other autonomy-enabled physical products.
• Experience with recurring software or service contracts, B2B facility or industrial products, and channel sales.
• Experience taking hardware through NPI to volume production, including DFM reviews, pilot builds, and ramp.
• Engineering degree or previous engineering experience, plus familiarity with safety and compliance for mobile machinery operating around people.
• Strong working knowledge of AI tools such as Claude Cowork or Claude Code and interest in AI for product management.
