Software Development Engineer (AI)

Location: Dublin, Ireland. Hybrid Flex Work: at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, and partners.

Base salary: €72,000–€108,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and operate core components of the Agent Measurement & Forecasting metrics platform.
• Build telemetry pipelines into Apache Iceberg using dbt.
• Enforce schema contracts through CI/CD gates and automated data quality checks.
• Extend the MetricsFlow semantic layer to serve governed metrics to the Product Data Store and downstream consumers.
• Improve multi-tenant data isolation, metric-serving query performance, and the migration from per-tier governance.
• Contribute to technical design, architectural discussions, documentation, and engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development engineering experience, including designing, developing, and deploying software solutions.
• 3+ years of production-level experience with Python and SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with dbt, Apache Iceberg, and semantic-layer tooling such as MetricsFlow, dbt Semantic Layer, or Cube.
• Knowledge of data governance, schema contracts, CI/CD schema gates, distributed systems, and automated data quality checks.
• Experience with large-scale data processing, API development, multi-tenant isolation, security principles, Git, and distributed development workflows.
