SAP Compliance Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate security and access-control frameworks across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Fiori, BTP, and SuccessFactors landscapes.
• Design SAP roles, manage user provisioning, and perform segregation-of-duties analysis.
• Operate SAP GRC Access Control, including ARA, ARM, BRM, and EAM.
• Support SAP audits, remediation activities, and auditable security operations.
• Partner with audit, compliance, and business teams to secure complex SAP environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of SAP Security or GRC experience in enterprise landscapes.
• Strong experience with SAP authorization concepts, role design, and SAP GRC Access Control.
• Hands-on experience securing Fiori, BTP, and cloud SAP applications.
• Experience supporting SAP audits and remediation, with knowledge of SOX, GxP, and PCI frameworks.

Nice to have

• SAP Security or GRC certification.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Identity services, including IAS, IPS, and SCIM integrations.
• Familiarity with HANA security, analytic privileges, continuous controls monitoring, or SAP RISE/Grow security operating models.
