Senior Site Reliability Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

Location: Toronto, Canada; travel of up to 25% may be required.

Base salary: CAD 118,000–148,000 per year.

What you will do

• Work directly with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to understand needs and support business goals.
• Participate in design reviews, production readiness checks, and post-incident analyses.
• Improve the reliability, performance, and efficiency of microservices applications.
• Analyze observability and monitoring data to optimize operational metrics.
• Automate routine maintenance and incident-management processes across multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure operating 24x7x365.
• Develop technical solutions, tooling, documentation, and training materials while contributing code and mentoring colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong experience with Bash, Python, and/or Go, plus Linux systems and live production support for web applications using Java, Apache, and Tomcat.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Terragrunt, or Terraspace.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Flux CD, TeamCity, Datadog, CloudWatch, and PagerDuty.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, customer engagement, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Comfort with travel of up to 25% and working with customers, partners, and vendors.
