Procurement Team Lead (Manufacturing)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid work with 2 home office days per week.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the operational procurement team in Budapest.
• Set performance targets, conduct reviews, and manage workload distribution.
• Oversee purchasing activities to ensure timely material delivery for Blades & Vanes manufacturing.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance KPIs, and resolve escalations.
• Coordinate supply schedules with Logistics, Quality Management, Supplier Quality, and Production.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, sourcing activities, and contract negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement or supply chain management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of leadership or team lead experience.
• Native Hungarian written and spoken skills are required.
• Good English skills at negotiation level are required.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office, plus an intercultural mindset and adaptability to country-specific requirements.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience with industrial procurement and manufacturing environments.
