Senior UX Designer (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid arrangement with two fixed days per week in the office. A relocation package is available for candidates currently living outside the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Lead design for seller and expert experiences from discovery through launch and continuous improvement.
• Use customer research, behavioural data and business insight to identify needs and design opportunities.
• Turn ambiguous customer problems into clear journeys, concepts, prototypes and design plans.
• Design intuitive interactions, interfaces and service flows for complex tasks.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, UX Writers and other designers.
• Contribute to design systems, communicate design rationale and use AI and rapid prototyping tools to test assumptions.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience designing digital products, ideally for ecommerce, marketplaces or customer-facing products.
• A portfolio demonstrating complex problem solving, improved experiences and contribution to results.
• Strong interaction design, prototyping and visual communication skills.
• Experience with customer research and translating findings into design decisions.
• Fluency with Figma and prototyping tools, plus an understanding of design systems.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in ecommerce, marketplaces or other products used directly by customers.
