Deputy Treasurer

Location: Bornem, Belgium; hybrid working policy.

Annual base pay in Belgium: EUR 112,500–157,500.

What you will do

• Partner with the Treasurer to deliver the global treasury strategy and act as deputy across treasury operations, governance, transformation, and risk management.
• Lead liquidity management, cash forecasting, working capital optimization, cash pooling, and intercompany funding.
• Manage banking relationships, treasury infrastructure, technology platforms, financing activities, debt facilities, guarantees, and letters of credit.
• Oversee foreign exchange, interest rate, counterparty, and liquidity risk management, including hedging and mitigation strategies.
• Drive automation, process standardization, system optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain treasury policies, controls, governance frameworks, compliance processes, and audit readiness while providing strategic leadership across treasury operations.

Requirements

• Significant experience in corporate treasury, preferably in a complex, multinational environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, funding, and financial risk management.
• Strong knowledge of treasury systems, controls, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead transformation initiatives, drive operational efficiencies, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic, analytical, and commercially minded approach with excellent leadership and communication skills.
