Senior Quality Assurance Specialist (Performance Testing): Designing and executing functional, automated, and performance testing for mobile and IoT device management software with an accent on test strategy, application stability, and production readiness. Focus on building test coverage, analyzing performance issues with JMeter, AppDynamics, and Fiddler, and collaborating with development and architecture teams in an Agile environment.
Location: Galway, Ireland; hybrid work with 3 days in-office.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and document application test strategies, plans, and cases based on requirements and technical specifications.
- Create, implement, and maintain test coverage for the platform across functional, integration, system, security, performance, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Design, configure, script, and execute performance tests to validate application and infrastructure stability and production readiness.
- Prepare performance testing strategies, plans, estimates, optimization documentation, and KPI reports.
- Use JMeter, AppDynamics, and Fiddler to conduct load testing, analyze results, and identify performance issues.
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams, contribute to Agile Scrum processes, and mentor colleagues on performance engineering and automation frameworks.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of application quality assurance experience in complex web-based and mobile software environments.
- Experience with manual and automated testing, exploratory testing, bug reporting, and API testing.
- Experience with JMeter and a programming language or test automation framework; C# and Playwright are preferred.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, CI/CD workflows, and software testing practices across the full development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with developers, technical teams, users, and senior management.
- Degree or diploma in computer science or a related discipline; knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud architecture is beneficial.
