Data Engineer (Generative AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and platform services for digital marketing and customer engagement solutions.
• Build batch, streaming, and event-driven data processing workflows and reusable data assets.
• Develop AI-powered applications using large language models, generative AI, RAG, semantic search, and vector retrieval.
• Integrate AI models with enterprise data sources, APIs, and business applications.
• Implement data quality, governance, security, observability, monitoring, and responsible AI controls.
• Use AI-assisted development tools across coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and operational support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, SQL, or similar languages.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, distributed processing, streaming technologies, cloud-native development, and enterprise data platforms.
• Knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, AI evaluation, monitoring, and optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, production support, data governance, security, and observability.
• Experience with platforms and tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse, Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure as code.

Nice to have

• Experience building agentic AI solutions and intelligent workflows.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Spring AI, CrewAI, AutoGen, Model Context Protocol, AgentOps, or LLMOps.
• Experience in digital marketing, customer engagement, personalization, analytics, loyalty, or digital products.
• Experience with customer intelligence, audience segmentation, recommendations, measurement, privacy, and consent management.
