QA Manager - Laboratories

Location: Onsite in Orange, California, USA; Monday–Friday schedule with travel to California service centers as necessary

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location

What you will do

• Lead quality governance for the business unit and maintain the Orange Laboratory’s quality systems.
• Maintain and expand laboratory accreditations and oversee compliance with applicable methods and standards.
• Manage proficiency testing, corrective actions, internal audits, data assessments, and responses to agency and client audits.
• Maintain the QA Program, QA Manual, SOPs, Ethics and Data Integrity program, and personnel training records.
• Coach quality team members and deliver departmental and corporate compliance training.
• Partner with technical, operations, continuous improvement, laboratory leadership, and clients to resolve complex quality issues and interpret regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or related operations.
• Working knowledge of TNI and/or ISO 17025 standards, 40 CFR, industry regulations, or other regulated environments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring teams.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to meet the minimum requirements of the facility’s accrediting bodies.
