Senior Motion Designer

Location: Hybrid, with three days per week on-site in the San Francisco or New York City office

Salary: $145,000–$160,000 base compensation annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Develop a cohesive motion design language and visual approach for hirify.global and Runna brand campaigns.
• Evolve motion systems and templates across marketing and product experiences.
• Generate and present multiple creative directions from briefs.
• Apply brand judgment across touchpoints and maintain consistent creative quality.
• Manage motion projects end to end, including production planning and prioritization.
• Partner with creative directors, designers, copywriters, and product teams, and explore AI tools to scale motion execution.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience as a Motion Designer with a portfolio covering varied formats and levels of complexity.
• Strong proficiency with After Effects, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to work independently, make creative decisions, and manage projects from concept through delivery.
• Strong brand judgment and clear communication with non-creative collaborators.
• Collaborative, proactive, solutions-first approach.
• Ability to work on-site three days per week in the San Francisco or New York City office.

Nice to have

• Experience with UI/UX motion.
• Working knowledge of 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or Spline.
• Interest in learning Rive for motion and interactivity in product.
