Senior Software Engineer (Cloud)

What you will do

• Build and operate reliable cloud services on AWS and Cloudflare across compute, storage, networking, and managed infrastructure.
• Evolve the infrastructure powering full-stack web applications and AI agents on hirify.global Cloud.
• Use CDN and edge computing capabilities to deliver fast, resilient websites and applications.
• Own features from customer problem discovery through design, implementation, rollout, and ongoing operation.
• Participate in on-call rotations, investigate production incidents, and implement improvements that prevent recurring issues.
• Contribute to engineering blogs, hiring processes, and internal hackathon teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating backend services in production.
• Experience designing backend services, including service boundaries, contracts, and data ownership.
• Production experience with AWS, Cloudflare, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with data modeling, query optimization, and production databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Fluency in TypeScript and Node.js, with familiarity with edge runtimes, HTTP, caching, CDNs, and edge computing.
• Business-level English fluency and the right to work in the country of employment are required.
