TL;DR
Risk and Internal Control Lead (Fintech): Strengthening risk awareness, internal controls, and compliance across Pluxee Bulgaria with an accent on risk assessments, control frameworks, audit support, and regulatory initiatives. Focus on coordinating mitigation plans, improving critical business processes, advising stakeholders, and aligning local practices with Group standards.

What you will do
- Coordinate company-wide risk assessments, maintain risk registers, and monitor key risks.
- Support the implementation of mitigation action plans and advise management on risk, compliance, and control effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies, procedures, frameworks, documentation, and governance processes.
- Perform internal control assessments, recommend process improvements, and coordinate controls for card operations and other critical processes.
- Support internal and external audits, including follow-up on findings and action plans.
- Deliver risk and compliance training, share best practices, and participate in strategic projects, due diligence, and regulatory initiatives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–5+ years of experience in internal control, risk management, or compliance within a multinational company, financial institution, banking, or consulting environment.
- Good understanding of risk management, governance, and internal control frameworks.
- Experience with regulatory requirements and compliance programs, plus strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced English and native Bulgarian are required.
- High integrity, attention to detail, professional judgment, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
