Corporate FP&A Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States (Hybrid)

Salary: $125,000–$180,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead annual department budgets and rolling forecasts for headcount and operating expenses.
• Own headcount and personnel cost models covering hiring plans, attrition, compensation, and benefits.
• Partner with department leaders on hiring and investment decisions, cost savings, and profitability tradeoffs.
• Coordinate with Accounting on month-end close, expense accruals, and headcount and OpEx variance analysis.
• Manage SaaS and vendor spend tracking, purchase orders, procurement approvals, and Ramp spend programs.
• Implement planning tools such as Pigment or Anaplan and prepare consolidated reporting for executives and the board.

Requirements

• 5+ years of FP&A or business finance experience, including headcount and operating expense planning in a growing technology company.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills with experience building financial forecast models.
• Hands-on experience managing Ramp, spend approvals, expense controls, and reporting.
• Experience implementing and administering Pigment, Anaplan, or similar planning systems, including model design and data integrations.
• Strong knowledge of expense accruals, cost allocation, and financial statements.
• Ability to partner with department leaders and communicate financial tradeoffs and recommendations clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS or AI businesses.
• Experience with IT, cloud, inference costs, or contractor and services delivery economics.
