Senior Apparel Product Developer (Women's)

Location: hirify.global's downtown Seattle headquarters; hybrid schedule with four days in the office and one remote workday per week

Salary: $93,500–$155,000 annual

What you will do

• Develop women's apparel products that meet cost, quality, minimum order quantity, line plan, brand aesthetic, and design intent requirements.
• Track prototypes, colors, sample yardage, testing, pre-production activities, milestones, and calendar deadlines.
• Lead vendor negotiations across costing, timelines, minimums, sourcing strategy, and the full product lifecycle.
• Mentor product developers through development processes, sourcing strategy, calendar milestones, and adoption reporting.
• Provide final-cost rollups, place adopted styles, and recommend sourcing and raw-material opportunities.
• Analyze business and category reports to identify trends, root causes, and process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in product development, design, or production in garment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of raw materials and garment construction.
• Experience communicating and working with domestic and international manufacturers.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, leadership, supervision, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to apply cost engineering and cost negotiation strategies.
• Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Familiarity with a Product Lifecycle Management system.
